Technical details
Our fibreglass floors and steps are a durable, low-maintenance option, custom made in a single piece of up to 12′ × 24′. They are coated with a layer of polyester resin and a high-quality gelcoat to better resist micro-cracks and infiltration.
- Internal structure made of ¾″ Select BC Fir plywood
- 1½″ rounded edge or a 2¼″ moulded drip edge on the front and sides to improve drainage
- All surfaces coated with fibreglass and polyester resin
- Choice of durable, non-slip, solid, or granite gelcoat finish; applied to top surface

Soffits and Fascias
These coverings protect the wooden structure of your balcony and complement your home wonderfully.
While soffits certainly do add a beautiful finish, they’re also essential for ventilating and protecting the balcony structure. Our vented aluminum soffits are made up of interlocking perforated aluminum sheets laid horizontally under the balcony. Meanwhile, the tongue-and-groove wood soffits are generally made of natural pine, and require vents to allow air to circulate under the balcony.
As for fascias, they’re long strips of wood or aluminum that run around the edges of a balcony. They play an important aesthetic role, creating a smooth transition between floor and soffit. Fascias can be single or double stacked and made of smooth aluminum or wood.
