Front Staircases
Our front staircases of all shapes and sizes are carefully crafted from the highest-quality aluminum :
- Alloy: aluminum, magnesium, and silicon. Alloys 6061 and 6063 are some of the most durable alloys around, with superior corrosion resistance.
- Handrail options: Tubular metal (1¼″ or 1½″) or natural pine.
- Baluster options: ⅜″ or ½″ (36″ height). Newel posts: 1″.
- Scrolls and ornamentation: Multiple models available, designed to harmonize with Montreal’s architectural heritage.
- Stringers: 12″ or custom width.
- Tread options: Fibreglass or natural pine, 42″ or custom width.
- Pretreated with zirconium and finished with baked-on electrostatic paint in the colour of your choice.
Ornamentation
Our goal is to enhance your home’s exterior and increase its value, so Escalier MTL has several types of ornamentation to choose from. We can also reproduce the design on your current staircases or guardrails.
Colours
Our welded aluminum staircases are pretreated with zirconium, then coated with a layer of baked-on electrostatic paint in the colour of your choice. This provides an even coating, a thicker finish, and greater impact and weather resistance, for superior results and the peace of mind that comes with a maintenance-free staircase.
